Spoiler Alert:
It was definitely nowhere in the realm of The Mandalorian which is a tough act to follow. Very hard watching old man Boba running around slow mo fighting and barely winning.
It only got stars because we now actually get to see the backstory of how Boba got out the Sarlac + new storyline of him as a good guy overlord figure trying to be different than Jabba the Hut. Boba is no way as gangster as how we saw him reappear in the Mandalorian series.
Ultimately it gets points for potential...like a guy coming out of high school to go straight to the NBA. Don't know what your going to get next, but looking forward to it!
UPDATE: after watching Episode 3, any hopes of this thing getting any better are nonexistent. I was done after seeing teens on colorful bikes with electric chains for weapons going after the bad Chewbacca... literally looks like a scene taken from the Power Rangers. So cheesy @Disney doing the legacy of Boba Fett like that!!
My logic feels that Disney may be trying to kill off Boba from our memories here; they are just using this series to answer questions. George Lucas never intended for Boba to become a saught after/featured character...the attention to storyline development here is representative of Disney as well. Mandalorian was created with intention to be a feature character and the results are the difference between the two shows.
