I found this a very compelling and intense film. Great acting throughout. For me the interesting element was the impact of the marriage breakdown on the son, and his relationship with both his Mother and Father. I think the worry and concern he felt, particularly for his Mothers mental health, was something many would feel in similar circumstances. The film reflected well, I felt, the tension/anxiety/worry a son or daughter would be likely to feel when experiencing the break up of their parents marriage. The son`s spoken words, at the end of the film, which were beautiful, captured, for me, the emotional bond that ties loving parents together with their children, and how, as parents grow older, we struggle with a growing awareness of their future loss. A great film.
