Best Trek movie to hit the big screen when it was released. Love that it rebooted everything, making our beloved characters vulnerable and their futures unknown. I applauded in the theater when Leonard Nimoy make his Spock appearance and was genuinely disappointed that it was only me.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen. I expected a space thriller. What I got was gross scenes set in space and no plot whatsoever. As the credits rolled and anger and guilt set in for sitting through this monstrosity in the theater, my husband turned to me and said "You were right, we should've left. They never did get around to the plot." Despite excellent actors and decent effects, lots more time, money and attention should've been paid to an actual story. I'm sure the actors regret doing this one. I still want my money back. If I could give this space-themed horror (as in horrible) 0 stars, I would.

One of the funniest sci-fi disaster movie parodies of all time.

There's nothing else quite like it. No other movie has appreciated the sci-fi fan like this. Not to mention it's literally a star studded event.
