I think I'm too old to enjoy all these sequels to the OG film, which is a classic masterpiece. I hated this one. But the entertainment industry must attempt to squeeze every penny out of a film franchise, good or bad. And they must make them relevant to later generations. So happy to see Slimer pretty much unchanged though. The two stars are for him. Her. It. Them. Whatever.

I was hooked the first three seasons. Brilliant. Then season four came out and it was like the twilight zone. After three years of getting to know the main characters in depth, they're suddenly replaced by unfamiliar faces. I'm sure the new actors are excellent but I couldn't watch it. Imagine a Star Wars movie with Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, and Mark Hamill replaced. How long could you watch it? The first three seasons are fantastic and I'll have to settle for that. Definitely worth watching.

A little bit Mad Max, a smidgen Riddick, with our familiar xenomorph critter. It's not horrible but I didn't get drawn in by it. There's no team, no daughter, no mission. And killing a dog always knocks off at least one star for me. There's not really anybody to root for, or anybody in particular you want to see get ripped open. It's pretty much a single critter knocking off a bunch of bad guys one at a time. Still, I get goosebumps over that creature design. Outstanding. Good to see Bishop again. Worth watching but not great.

Michael Fassbender and Billy Crudup made me want to watch this one. I loved Alien and Aliens and Prometheus. The other alien movies didn't do as much for me. The creatures are amazing in this film. Isn't that why we watch these things? Things are a bit messy with random stuff happening and not much explanation for things. You have to suspend logic a bit to get through it. Are the androids trustworthy or do they have their own agendas? This question runs through the franchise all the way from Ripley's hatred of them to the later films. Great special effects as usual. Worth watching.

Fell in love with Wales and Eve Myles during Torchwood. Just give her all the awards already. And developed a crush on her real life husband while watching Vikings Valhalla, and he's playing her husband in KF. I'm across the pond and I watch UK and European TV when I can find it. Season three hasn't come here yet, and after that cliffhanger, I need it! A week gone with no word, and discovering that he's not the person you thought you married during his absence? Yeah, I'm expecting a fist fight in season three at least. She'll win, no doubt. The score was a bit distracting at times, but that's a common problem. Other distractions are easily dismissed because of the quality acting and writing. Just watch it.

Yikes! Didn't make it all the way through, and I need therapy for the part I did watch. We need to have negative star ratings for these things. Classic example of trying to milk every drop out of what started out as a masterpiece with the original Jaws film. This is not even in the same galaxy as the original. If you liked it, good for you. Apparently you saw something redeeming in it that I missed. Not worth watching.

This is not a documentary or a history based film. It's purely fiction. So I won't bemoan the lack of accuracy with regards to the era or the peoples portrayed here. Accuracy doesn't apply to fiction. This movie takes a bit of time to establish a main plot but hang in there. It's a search and rescue mission unlike any you've ever seen. The most gruesome killing scene I've ever witnessed is in this film. It ends with a setup for a sequel, but I don't think one was made. I'm grateful for the lack of a musical score. It would completely ruin the dark macabre mood of the film. I am a big fan of unusual atmospheric gruesome films and this one didn't disappoint. It goes on my rewatch list.

Shallow, bad acting and writing. I don't have a problem with casting different races in roles, or even different genders, if the acting is on point. I've seen better fan made stuff than this but it does have decent costumes and sets. Best look elsewhere if you want this story to get the presentation it deserves.

Good 70s music. Mothra looked beautiful. Decent special effects. The rest was utter garbage. Watch Godzilla Minus One for comparison. GMO was a ten. GXK is a zero. I've seen them all, including the 1954 original. Even it was much better than GXK. Shame. Godzilla himself is mortified.

First off, this show makes me want to go to Italy badly. Gorgeous locations. I normally don't go in for this type of TV but the reviews convinced me. Well done. It irked me a little bit that not a single policeman or investigator asked for a picture of either man. That should have been number one. But they didn't so we got to watch cat and mouse in a most enjoyable way. I don't know if another season is planned but it almost looks like it could happen because of the ending. Excellent writing and acting. Worth watching.
