Dan Brown is an absolute genius . . . I am honestly surprised each and every time when I grab one of his books that how could a book, that visually seems only a few steps away from lifeless, just endless pages of non-moving writing, could be so interesting that once you pick it up, putting it down literally becomes a Herculean task; so much more interesting than Television which has moving pictures, coloured themes, and obviously seems a hundred times more lively than never-ending pages of words. Each and every one of his books in his Robert Langdon series that I have read till now are stunningly captivating, transporting you to an entirely different world of endless adventures and twists, making you indulge in them so deeply that you cease to keep track of time! And believe me, every book for me is a new book, with its pages waiting for me to reveal their intensely attractive mysteries, even if they are by the same author; but till now, every one of Dan's works have succeeded in hooking me to them like a worm is hooked on a tasty leaf, urging me to devour as much of the book as possible in the little time that I have; and for every case, I never could predict it coming! The movie that they have created, though, has completely spoiled Dan's genius; it lacks so many events, so many characters, and so many key foundations of the book, and I definitely realized how inferior the spin-off movie is comparing to the original book.
All in all, Angels and Demons, like his others such as The Da Vinci Code and The Lost Symbol, is no doubt a true masterpiece, and it seems that whatever reviews other readers had included in the beginning pages of every book like 'a pulse-quickening adventure' and 'easy to pick up, impossible to put down'; they were surprisingly correct! A must try-it-out to all the fellow readers out there who want an impossible to set down page-turner to keep them up late at night!
