I loved the series, but did not feel the gay activity was relevant to the story and could have been left out altogether. It was kept to a minimum and that was nice. However, the movie was a different story. At least I was able to rent it and fast forward through that part of the movie. The rest of the story seemed rushed as if they were trying to cram several episodes into one. I didn't hate the movie, but it did not leave me with the feeling of wanting more like the series did.
