An excellent read from probably the best of today’s sports writers. Duncan beautifully brings back memories of such great football stars of a long era, names like Jackie Milburn, Stan Matthews, Tom Finney and Duncan Edwards. It would have been worthy of five stars but for the recurring references of Liverpool great Ron Yeats as Ron Yates. Do hope this has been put right in any reprints.
