'Living in Egypt' BEWARE if your child brings this' ready to read book' home from school - it is about marketing your child to Islam beliefs -there are 31 pgs & starts on pg 13 teaching them the 5 Pillars of their belief's . Your child will read out loud "Peace be upon him Mohammad" and "I'll wear a hijab (head covering) when I'm older and I hope mine is as cool as my sisters." If the schools are going to encourage this reading-where are the books on other religions and other points of view? I will not be buying any more books from Scholastic or Simon & Schuster. Boycotting all of the secret attempts to indoctrinate my child.
