Mephiles The Dark

I was really surprised how good Rock Dog was when I first watched it. The voice acting and cast were so brilliant, the animation was very good, the characters are so fun, and the music is so catchy! I liked it's message, I liked the designs and atmosphere and I liked it's simple but yet heartwarming charm! It's easily an underrated gem I would happily recommend. When I heard Rock Dog 2 was being made, I was so stoked! So many ideas were flowing through my brain, I was so curious on what direction they would take! But when the trailer came out...ALL excitement and hope I had for it were gone. Right when I saw the trailer. And when I finally watched the movie, it was even worse. I mean..where do I even start with this? The animation got a SERIOUS downgrade. Why? Why didn't the original movie studio come back? The animation looks so lazy and terrible. The colors and lighting looks so dead, lifeless and empty. I'd say it looks like a DVD Sequel, but even THAT'S an insult. It's easily up there with Ice Age: Buck Wild. Absolutely NONE of the original cast come back, which is SO disappointing. Luke Wilson, J.K. Simmons, Eddie Izzard, Sam Elliot and others, GONE. All gone. And the voice actors replacements' performances are just..so bad. Every single joke in this movie is so cringe-inducing and infuriatingly annoying. The music is SO forgettable compared to the first Rock Dog. The music was easily the best part, because a LOT of love was put into it, especially the song 'Glorious'. NONE of that passion translates through ANY of these new songs. The new characters in this movie are so forgettable and boring, same with the old characters. HOW DO YOU MAKE BODI AND ANGUS BORING?! Oh i'm sorry, did I suggest that Angus is in this movie? well my mistake, because HE'S NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!! You're telling me, the guy who motivated Bodi to go on his journey, helped him grow as a rock star, AND was one of the most enjoyable characters in the film, just gets ONE cameo?! Yeah, he gets a cameo, but its his ONLY mention in the movie! He doesn't even make a last-minute appearance in the third act! Oh, and don't even get me STARTED on Riff and Skozz! In the end credits of the first one, they agreed to stay on the good side with Bodi and the others. But here, apperently, that didn't happen! They're evil again anyways! WHAT?! Way to completely destroy character development! Oh, and remember Linnux, from the first movie? The villain that wanted to steal the sheep to eat them? Guess what? DIDN'T HAPPEN! Apperently, Linnux DOESN'T want to eat the sheep! He wants to be a KiNg Of RoCk AnD rOlL! UGH! My ONLY positives in this movie is Linnux. I liked his change of position of power, and I guess I liked the battle of Linnux VS Bodi. And I do like how Linnux dressed up as the new villain, referencing the 'wolf in sheep's clothing' phrase. That was pretty clever, I guess I'll give it that. But everything else in this movie, brings all the magic and effort the first Rock Dog, and throws it all away. Easily one of the worst sequels of all time. Please, DO NOT watch this movie if you are a Rock Dog fan, or just decently liked it in general. It's a huge waste of your time and money.

My goodness, this is the most fun I had in quite some time, especially since whenever I'm tired of always playing Smash because it's the only thing I got. Ever since I started playing this game, I had a blast with how fun it was, and especially how colorful and vibrate the visuals are! And I love the arcade and sports mode! My parents and sister had a ton of fun playing this :D though I have some issues, but not really big ones though: 1: The announcer is kinda..meh. he's not bad at all, but not good either. But personally that's a nitpick 2: Though I love the concept and ideas of the content, it's kinda lacking. It's not bad by any means, but a bit more would be nice. But I'll let the developers be happy with the game the way it is, after all, a LOT of passion was put into it, do I won't force them to do even more work on the base game. I can't wait for whatever new content is awaiting us! I hope Nickelodeon keeps bringing Ludosity do create even more passionate games quite like this one, even a All-Stat Brawl franchise maybe even! :D
