Pretty much pathetic ! The one I've just been watching. S2 E9. Oh No ! 😱 Ice on the tracks !!! From what we can see, there's 8 blocks of ice.🥱 It takes an emergency stop from the train resulting in flat spots on the wheels ! ( Excellent anticipation seeing that the driver was following 5 miles behind, driver being aware of a problem, at the time of announcement). It then takes 2 crews, including the infamous "Team Ditcher" more time to clear 8 chunks of ice than it takes the "Train Maintenance Crew". 👍 To travel from God knows where, to the middle of nowhere, to seperate a train, jack up the flat spotted boggies, change them. Certify that all health and safety protocols had been obeyed. Filled in the necessary documentation and still beat "Team Ditcher" to move 8 lumps of river icebergs  from 50 yards of track. Come on Discovery or whoever sponsors these programs. In principle, I like the basis of the programme, good scenery, highlighting the problems of the Off Gridders etc, I like the no brainer entertainment, but it would be more entertaining if it actually was feasible without the "Oh My God" dramatics for the fake entertainment 🤦‍♂️ Sent from my Galaxy
