It was difficult reading the book as it made me feel nauseated. I would have rated this book zero stars if I could. It was so bad that I had to return it, in the hope that I could wipe from my mind such drivel. The book attempts to justify why Meghan blamed everyone, except herself, for being disliked during her 2 years as a member of the Royal family. She froze out individuals she disagreed with, distanced herself from her father who helped her get where she is today, walked out on the Royal family who showered her with titles, cottages, income, while bending backwards to accommodate her every wish and blamed the media for all her problems. She kept pulling out her favourite trump card ‘racist’, to silence anyone who dared stand up to her.
She was displeased when her sister-in-law who bought her flowers for the arrival of her baby instead of being thankful, blamed Kate for being genuine and reserved, and was angry because she couldn’t command everyone’s friendship. The entire object of this book is to portray Meghan as a martyr and a victim when in fact it could be argued that she wiggled her way into the the Royal family, led Harry astray, was instrumental in the breakdown of Harry’s relationship with his loving family, and removed him from his birthplace where he was loved.
Meghan and Harry, please grow up and stop acting like a spoilt children! You are incredibly privileged, living in palaces and huge estates and have millions of dollars to squander on your lavish lifestyles..Look around you, people are dying of hunger and living in the streets in silence. What on earth do you have to complain about! You say you want to make a difference in the world, then start by giving to others, not moan because you want more.
