Summary: this movie is a must see that does the originals justice and most of these reviews that talk about it being bad need to lighten up and watch the movie for what it is instead of being so critical and up-tight. I have read many reviews saying the movie is awful, for reasons such as it being laughable, riddled with plot holes, not knowing who is winning or dying, etc. I'm just gonna say two things. One, it's a movie about giant monsters fighting, realism is out the door the moment you look at the title. If you're going into it expecting it to be scientifically sound or accurate then you picked the wrong movie. The movie does feel like it is long but the action scenes and the slower parts really work well together to keep Two, if you can't tell who is dying or who is or isn't winning then I don't think we watched the same movie. Or maybe you just aren't watching the movie, it is VERY apparent whether Godzilla of King Ghidorah is winning the fight. There is a character that does die but it is super obvious whenever you see both what is happening and how the other characters react. Overall I feel that many of these negative reviews are just make fun of it for minor reasons and blowing them out of proportion. If you just watch the movie for what it is it is a truly amazing ride with action sequences that rival that of endgame.
