It’s hard for me to get past the starting scenes where nobody has to reload a weapon ever, and awful CGI is so prevalent.

Another new Pokémon title, another ho-hum experience that doesn’t live up to their 10-15 year old remakes. This one was billed as the open world pokemon game that we’ve all been waiting for!! - and, the Breath of the Wild of Pokémon games! Well, it’s not……..not even close. And to be honest it’s a wonder anyone can make it past the prologue - it’s a flashback to 2005 video game graphics with textureless walls and environment. There’s no excuse whatsoever for this entry from a 100 billion dollar franchise to look this way.
