Super dark, and no feel good movie for sure! Wasn’t expecting that, butI also wasn’t expecting to look around at fellow moviegoers wondering “Who’s going to respond to this call for the disaffected?”
One thing is for sure - Joaquin Phoenix sure wasn’t intimidated by the powerful Heath Ledger performance. A stellar actor giving a supernova performance!
