The game is fun and it feels like they tried to expand on the joys of catching pokemon but alot of the core joy you get from a pokemon game is not present. More or less the game feels lackluster and the pokemon feel recycled from zone to zone with a couple surprises in between. I'm not against this but pokemon has taken a wrong step in my opinion. Now the mechanics are nice but it feels like they try to distract you from the core things that made a pokemon game that they ended up removing. All in all its a decent game. I cannot say it's worth the 60$ price tag as it sits now.
