If you are willing to watch a bombarding action or thriller movie, then masaan is not the cup of your tea. The story is woven at the bank of Ganges, in one of the city with utmost historical importance, Kashi. The story has followed the doctrine of signature of Ganges,, it's flow as facile as the holy river itself. The story has no heroic charismatic pungency, rather the flavor of common people's daily life, their requirements, love, dejection and struggle for existence, very simply interwoven. It's not easy to tell a simple story simply especially on a two and half hours celluloid but Neeraj Ghaywan with his state of art proficiency has silhouetted it magnificently.
A must watch film for those who love to hear stories of life with simplicity
