The breakthrough medical based TV show from 1982. This show gave us a host of characters whose real life personas became actors and directors reknown today for their talent. Getting their start on this drama were Denzel Washington, Howie Mandel, David Morse, Christina Pickles, and later, Mark Harmon, among others. If you enjoyed ER for the personal stories behind the medical storylines, you will love this one. I was thrilled to find it is now on HULU. Ironically, this came recently highly recommended by my son who is in his 40’s and just discovered it. I have started the journey of these characters again and enjoying it as much as the first go round back in the 80’s.
