I was a bit skeptical and truthfully thought I would regret buying call of duty. The last few installments on both black ops and modern warfare felt inconsistent, rushed and trying to stay in the spotlight by including features of other games like titan fall and other games that I felt took away from what made call of duty unique.
(Long run on sentence coming up)
I was wrong though, this game adapted well and is living by what it's own name by being modern. They have a unique cover system (which feels like they're working on cross platform gaming), great graphics, fluid gameplay, realistic health (if you play the campaign on realism it's similar so it's good practice before going online), campaign is not over the top (as in too dramatic or unrealistic) but is dark, gritty and well detailed (graphic scenes similar to the infamous mission in call of duty modern warfare where you play as a terrorist and shoot civilians). Its fun to get the darker perspectives of war and what is done to win. The characters are well developed and feels as if it's one of those flawless movies or television series you'd watch but you're in control of the character. Great dialogue and effort into npc characters and how small things can blow the mission.
Gets a 9/10 from me
