Its a video game, not a tool for the liberation of Indigenous people, and designed for the purpose of making a profit. As such, the angle of Indigenous resistance to colonisation is a clever and timely addition to the stealth action genre. The game reminds me of Assassins Creed with a crafting and camp/warrior management aspect. It will be interesting to see where it goes. What sort of 'win conditions' arise with future updates. After about 5 hours with the game it seems that so far winning is a matter of how long you can keep from losing. Not sure if one can actually turn the tide and drive the settlers back to Europe! But fun nonetheless, and with the learning curve and future updates it will only get better. If the liberation of indigenous people is what your looking for then turn off the game and go join the fight for socialism.
