Bala was a much awaited film and I must say it did live up to the hype. What a brilliant cast. Yami was a favourite with this being my best movie of her so far. It was a visual treat thanks to the cinematographer Anuj Rakesh Dhawan. The choreography by Vijay Ganguly was impeccable. The movie touches on an issue that needs to be addressed. Less body shaming but more body acceptance to be taken away from this film. A must watch!!!

Please dont be put off by the bad reviews posted on this. Many of them are hired by competitors to bash the film for their new release. This movie is not your typical drama, song and dance genre. It is an example of how capable the hindi film industry is when it comes to film making. This movie left dust in my mouth and thoughts in my head. A filmmaker who is able to do that is nothing short of a magician. This movie is not for the faint hearted but I promise you, if you watch it with a different perspective, you will be mind blown. Amazing direction, superb cinematography and spectaculor performances by Bhumi, Manoj Bajpai and Ranvir Shorey.
