I would absolutely love this show and want to give it a thumbs up except for the fact that I feel the judging isn’t truly blind and that one judge in particular, Dan, seems to know which plate was done by the restaurant head chef and then always select that dish as the winner. I feel that the judge whose “blind taste testing” gets led in the direction of the restaurant chef. It’s almost as if the show has promised not to make a mockery of these restaurants before they enter the show - when in reality it’s supposed to be a competition and losing doesn’t mean your restaurant sucks... so I’m left confused and annoyed that it doesn’t feel authentic.
