Felt rushed and poorly planned. Just your typical run of the mill fairy tale with a SLIGHT twist. Could have used more back story and details in the plot, the characters were pretty boring to me. A little more story would have fleshed them out nicely. But then hey, it could just be that I am way too invested into this kids' movie so that's just me...

It had potential, so much potential! But damn it's like the director's main goal for the movie was to try and Disney-fy the story. Couldn't you have chosen a different DC story to use as an example to dispel DC's well known reputation for being so dark? Corny, corny, corny and basic. You could really tell they focused more on the action packed parts most of all. The concept was great, just executed poorly. Can do much better.
