One of the best movies I've watched in a very, very long time. Impeccable casting with an ensemble of some great songs, Ludo doesn't try to be a great film while the hard work behind each scene is clearly evident. Anurag Basu takes the liberty to create a world such as the MCU or DCEU and gift it to a very niche audience that doesn't watch movies to finish the popcorn but to savour a great story and think on nuances of life while smiling at the connections a movie has with his/her life. As an avid Ludo game lover, I love how the movie lacks linearity when it comes to one story but has a strong sense of direction when all the 4 stories are looked at as a whole. Don't be a part of this journey if your mind just wants to predict the end of something. It wants you to celebrate each frame, each emotion, each success as well as each failure of the characters. Follow the story just the way the narrator tells you to and I assure you that it will be a journey you'll cherish.
The 4 stories and the common string (Pankaj Tripathi's part forms the dice in the game of Ludo) each exert a small push to one another until each reach its own climax - exactly how you'd expect the game you ludo to be.
Exceeding expectations through ethos, logos as well as pathos, Ludo is an exceptional piece of art!
