Fellow Ghost heads rejoice! Finally a real ghostbusters movie that is worth the theater viewing even in the pandemic. The references to the past movie (1984 original) we’re excellent and subtlety placed. Great new characters! The kids were awesome and engaging, I enjoyed every minute of it. They definitely touched up the scary in this version as well. I do wish they could have taken an extra 10-15 mins to explain a few other details and give the original guys a few more minutes of time, but I can forgive that in place for a great movie. I watched the 4DX version so the chair movements were ok but sometimes not needed during a normal car drive. Although the proton pack rumble was nice timing. Jason Reitman hit it out of the park, it’s not quite perfect in my humble opinion but it’s pretty close. Worth he trip and the view. Maybe keep the little ones at home and opt for your pre-teens as they can handle the scary parts.
