As an avid lover of Scooby-Doo, having watched every show and movie, having read every book and played every game (obsessed is the correct term to describe my love for Scooby-Doo), I adore this movie. As many things do, a lot has changed. This movie was made with the purpose of bringing Scooby-Doo to a new generation and I think it does it wonderfully. My younger sister adored it and all of the Easter eggs nodding back to the original Scooby-Doo placed tears in my eyes. It was hilarious, wonderfully written and wonderfully animated. I definitely recommend it.
