I couldn't get through this book. I felt extremely uncomfortable with the protagonist describing women's bodies in pornographic detail or at least feels the need to discuss the women's bodies but not the men and even dreams of raping a woman. The women even tells him 'I want to understand that you're raping me', she cries a bit, apparently 'he feels sorry for her but cannot leave that body'. Wait, don't worry! It's just a dream. He even has sexual relations with a woman who might be his mother. Women are just vessels for men to have sex with. It's rather disturbing for a woman to read this, especially rape, even if it's supposed to be in a man's dream. If it's a dream, he might as well have imagined her having consensual relations with her, why rape specifically?

Wouldn't suggest watching! Season 1 was great, great cinematography, acting, the intricate story line, character development. The leads chemistry was everything. 10/10 up until Jin Mu used the bells. S1 Ep20 and season 2 were an utter disappointment. I honestly think they shouldn't have changed the female lead for S2. It didn't make sense for Jin Mu to have gotten away with what he did, when he was clearly exposed. The female lead's personality didn't make sense either. Plot is weak. 20 episodes worth of great chemistry ofand romance gone down the drain. And the leads chemistry is for S2 is also bad. Few minutes into S2 Ep1, I was already regretting the 20+ Hours I spent binge watching it.

Fun and feel good! I didn't have much expectations but I actually enjoyed it a lot as an 18 y/o Indian! I'm also happy to see representation, not just because Hollywood severely lacks representation of South Asian women, but also because our own movies never cast women as dark as Devi in lead roles. They cast dark men (eg. Rajnikanth, Dhanush etc)but darker women as lead roles is basically unheard of. So I'm quite surprised I see representation of my skin tone in series like NHIE and Bridgerton but not in my own regional entertainment due to Colourism. Also very very accurate representation of Indians, i mean the Aunties, the pujas, the putting books near Puja area, the outfits, the half saree etc. Also happy to see good LGBTQIA representation! But even if you don't care about these, it's still a great watch!

Didn't enjoy the movie one bit. The guy is a creep asking random girls to send him tribal photos, and the girl is an idiot going out on long drives with men who clearly have feelings for her(even though she doesn't get physical). The relationship is toxic. Coming to the sister's marriage. This is an industry where movies constantly put down darker women. Even fat dark men are shown to be disgusted by dark women in other films. You'll never in a million years have a plot where a handsome fair boy falls in love with a dark obese woman because she's a nice person. Instead it's used as a comedic gag. Even women are 'visual' creatures. South movies have a tendency to show relatable looking men like Rajnikanth with ONLY fair skinned skinny women like Aishwarya Rai. I like body positivity but why does body positivity mean "Dark Obese man" gets a "Fair pretty woman" because he's nice? I wouldn't mind it if movies show the roles reversed too, but alas they wouldn't even dream of casting a slightly dusky brown beautiful woman.

Up until this movie I have been an absolutely Marvel obsessed girl who has watched EVERYTHING MARVEL. After i had watched this one i thought it wasn't good but it ain't the absolute worst either. The more I thought about how phase 4 went so far the more frustrated i got. I can't exactly detail how wrong it went here as it would be a 10 page essay. Though i have to say this movie felt like a comedy sketch by a stand up comedian. Story, character building, emotions all of that doesn't matter. Taika Watiti seems to be very uncomfortable with the idea of going 10 seconds without there being a joke(even if the same joke gets repeated too many times in the movie). The story was not just compromised for comedy's sake rather there was none at all.Almost all of the scenes have no impact or point. This movie was absolute garbage.

It's a must watch film. R Madhavan really gave it his all. His dedication to his craft shows. I was brought to tears watching this, I can't help but feel really sad for Nambi, i wonder where we would've been (in terms of scientific research) had he not been framed. But I'm also grateful that this movie got made, I had not known about Nambi before this movie came out. Atleast Nambi would now be known for his genius and patriotism rather than for those ghastly things he was accused of.
