I’m not usually one to write a review but here goes, I started playing Fifa on Fifa 08 on the DS. I loved the game and since then my love grew. I love football and I watch a lot of games and I love playing football games but unfortunately this isn’t one of them. I’m going to do a run through on each category. Exhibition match- this is actually alright, you can play lots of different game modes e.g long shots or no rules. This is a good addition which is good fun Pro clubs- this is just the same as always, no care has been put into changing this and it’s just seen as just a backup. Have any changes been made since fifa15 for pro clubs? Probably not Career mode- I loved career mode and usually I will do multiple seasons on all kinds saves but this year I struggled to even do one season, it started off way too easy, playing on ultimate and winning 4-0 most matches with a championship team, it’s not accurate is it? Then they made this new update and I was really excited, then I realised no matter how good your team was you would always lose, the new update has made the CPU turn into prime galacticos, it’s annoying because this was always my go-to game mode. The transfers are the same as always, the interviews seemed a good feature but it doesn’t affect anything, there’s 3 choices and one is obviously right, anyone who picks the other two is clearly stupid. I never used to buy Fifa for ultimate team only for career Mode but for the past 4-5 years career mode has Been weak, really weak. Seasons- does anyone play this? Volta- seemed like a genius invention, everyone expected Fifa street but boy were we wrong? It’s a poor game mode with no story, really disappointing Ultimate team- it really is pay to play, the everyone has the same team because only them players work, there is also too many special cards, like it used to be rare to see a special team but now everyone has them because every card is special, this just ruins the novelty. Can anyone explain why icons have multiple cards? Seriously no need for that. They also need to fix it so when you bring someone in it affects your chemistry because it’s stupid that people bring in Kent in the 2nd min which doesn’t affect the team. It’s pathetic really. They need to change this. Gameplay- gameplay is the worst thing about this Fifa, it’s really poor, crossing doesn’t work, passing doesn’t work, shooting doesn’t work. Goalkeepers are either overpowered or completely poor and save nothing. The passing is incomplete and doesn’t work, why do they have it so you can’t do a little chipped ball to the edge of the box? Strange isn’t it. The AI doesn’t work and is routinely out of position, it’s like they have a mind of their own half the time and just ignore what you say. The lag is also infuriating, this is a basic issue. Fifa has been poor this year, there is a need for a football game and honestly if PES was better than FIFA wouldn’t be bought, they seem to forgot who they started making them for, you can tell it’s bad when all the normal Fifa creators hate making products on the game. They’ve ruined it and for one they’ve lost me as a costumer which is a shame because I loved FIFA and I wish it was worth my time and money.
