If you are bored of the usual crime and action thrillers, errotic, horror, time-travel and space related sci-fi flicks, then this web series: 'Bandish Bandits Season 1' on Amazon Prime is a reliever for you. One of the best web series I have watched in the year 2020. The last one I liked was 'Panchayat'. This series is a winner in all departments starting from Story, Screenplay, Performance, Art Direction, Cinematography, Costumes, Dialogues, Background score and not to forget the department of Music that has been elevated to another level. This is the department which OTT platforms pay the least attention to. Thanks to the music of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy (terrfic 'digital' debut) and the awesome playback by Shankar Mahadevan, Shivam Mahadevan, Javed Ali, Armaan Malik and others. Kudos to the director Anand Tiwari as well. I am not writing much. You guys watch for yourselves. This is a must-watch series. Watch out for the very strong performances of Naseeruddin Shah, Atul Kulkarni, Ritwik Bhowmik, Shreya Chaudhary, Sheeba Chaddha and Amit Mistry. Kunal Roy Kapoor and Rahul Kumar add the comic element. If you are a true Music fan, you will like this series; especially the 'Finale Episode' that stole the whole show with the mesmerizing 'jugalbandi'.
