An excellent mix of dry humour and gritty police work with a cleverly written and well acted drama. I can't wait for series 2 to come out

A great story. With incredible cgi/ human interaction.. good for most age groups. If you like Sci-fi, you'll love it. But it has a good underlying story with human and robotic relationships and conflicts. Very entertaining and enjoyable.

Having watched this, I'd love to read the book. Hooked from start to end. Well written and put together. Highly recommend.

Great film. Great storytelling and visual effects were stunning. Not often a remake gets as good as this! Well worth watching

A compelling film based around 1825. A bond between an Irish woman and an aboriginal man seeking revenge from her families killers. A harsh reality of grass roots racism in Australia. A must watch film which is well written and directed, bringing the veiwer into her plight.

It may not be much like the original TV series, but it stands alone on humour, despite the few gory bits. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Well done to the film makers on a really good, funny, 'adult' themed film.

Very authentic and good sterling acting performances. But it's a very slow and laborious film. My wife and I actually fell asleep halfway through it!!! Such a shame that it was a very hard film to follow, not having any understanding of the original story from the book. A slow and difficult story to follow.

Without a doubt the poorest version of The War of The World's. Painfully slow story telling and no grit in the scriptwriting. The actors did their best...but even Jeff Wayne's musical version far outshines this
