Weak premise. I guess that kind of situation can happen in Mexico, but from a European point of view it’s incredible. And the stereotypes? The baddy -Lazcano- is a Spaniard (a Spanish actor to make his accent more credible) who says “Spaniards are family people, like the Italians”, that’s such a cheap line nowadays!!!!! Not too mention Lazcano’s homophobia towards his own son: a Western billionaire in 2021 holding such point of view? No way. Production values are good though.
