We probably wouldn’t have watched it based on the reviews here. But it’s another great reminder that reviews don’t always get it right. Especially from professional critics.
Me, my wife, and my almost 80 year old mother in law loved it. Russel Crowe plaid the character low key but boiling underneath like any man who feels screwed over with little hope.
Several good twists and a edge of your seat conclusion made this excellent Saturday Night entertainment. Topped by the fact it was Free on Amazon Prime.
Ever since we first saw him in LA Confidential Russel Crowe has Not let us down.
I highly recommend this underrated film.
