I was not much of a reader before this book. I've always disliked reading and have been more into romance movies/T.V shows... until I read this book. I had heard such great things about it so I decided to buy it. I was afraid that it wouldn't live up to what everyone said it was. I was dead-wrong. Once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. Literally. The only reasons I put it down were because I had to go to class and even then I wished I didn't have to go. This novel takes you on a beautiful, emotional rollercoaster. The heart-wrenching story Colleen Hoover tells through the character of Lily is one I will never forget. She pulls you in within the first few pages and doesn't let go. Tackling difficult topics like abuse and trauma, Colleen brings new perspectives to those situations that I had never realized before. She is brilliant. I finished this book in 2 days. As soon as I did, I immediately went on Amazon and bought another one of her books (Ugly Love) and it can't come soon enough. This book made me want to start reading again. Everyone should read this book. I cannot recommend it enough. I would give it a billion stars if I could.
