Way too out there for me. Very very corney! Disappointing.

Bridgerton was a disappointment. I thought it might have had the same cleverness and depth as Downton Abbey (Amazon Prime). Slow and lacking in plot development. No historical acumen but a poor combination of the English and French court.

I really like this series but find the character of Det Charlie (Lisa Marcos) plain annoying as she is clueless and too quick to jump to the wrong conclusion. Hopefully they will make her more appealing as the series evolves. This is the only let down.

I found it too slow. Lasted only for 4 episodes then the series lost me. The character of Police Officer Evans played by Allison Tolman I really didn’t like. She was too oppositional and ‘dumb’ which was very annoying.
