I know my opinion goes against the majority, but I found this movie to be extremely pretentious. The cinematography, acting, sets and costumes were all top notch, but didn't necessarily advance the story. And while I appreciate editing Shakespeare's play enough to keep the movie under 2 hours, it made transitions somewhat jarring. I enjoyed it for all of its elements, but it's not my favorite production of this play.
