Darling Channa

This film is a clean family entertainer. A high-octane action film with a sports backdrop, it features an outstanding performance from Sudeep who is the heart and soul of the film. It's great to see "Anna" Suniel Shetty after a long time. Aakanksha Singh has also delivered a great performance in a well-written role. The director has packaged a lot of action, family emotions and a strong message in this film. It resonates the most in the second half where some sequences hit you hard and even make you cry. Fight sequences are a major highlight as the film features an unprecedented blend of wrestling, boxing and "mass" action. Each and every fight is brilliantly executed, but it's the final one that stands out due to the vulnerability we're made to believe. Visuals are gorgeous and production values are rich. Songs are surprisingly good, and the BGM is totally out of the world! I recommend this film to anyone who wants to enjoy a good popcorn action drama with nothing unsuitable for family viewers. After KGF, Kannada film industry has delivered another action masterpiece that deserved a lot of appreciation nationwide. Must watch! 5/5 stars.
