The show is really good. It is related with its spin off The Vampire Diaries but the storyline is way better. Even if you haven't watched The Vampire Diaries you can still continue with this. The actors have done a great job with their respective parts and the bond between them is very clearly visible. It is addictive. I wish there were more seasons and we could see more of Klaus and Hope together, but overall Julie Plec and her team did a great job with this one. <3

At some places it felt as if the writer is himself baffled. Though the examples used to make things clear is amazing. Overall the book teaches us how to ignore the unimportant things in life which we usually over-prioritize and then regret about it. Overall a good book for setting your prioritizes better.
