Merzbow's mastery over his instruments brilliantly shines through in Pulse Demon. When listening casually, even though you may enjoy the catchy guitar riffs and absolutely undeniably sweet drumfills, you miss out on the entire underwater iceberg of this album's technical complexity. Clearly, Merzbow is the musician for the eons, and I have no doubt that in time his unparalleled influence in the very idea of music will soon earn him a rightful spot in the rock and roll hall of fame.

Genuinely one of the few albums i consider to be flawless. each track constitutes a whole new feeling, e.g. Sleep is a melancholic lo-fi sort of track with an enormous crescendo. Truly a modern masterpiece
