James – Google

This movie was inspiring. It inspired me to do a search on how to permanently delete a movie from apple even though I had already paid for it. I didn’t want to make the mistake of turning it on again and wasting more valuable time than I had already wasted during the first watch. I know it’s a cliche, but I enjoyed my last dentist visit much more than the time spent watching this disaster. It’s so disjointed it’s hard to even effectively review it in detail. By the way, I liked the first Evil Dead movie!

This started out so good and I had such high hopes. So many horror films today seem to string together bits and pieces from the top shelf horror films of all time, I presume in hopes people won’t figure it out or won’t care, and this is a classic example. It wanders and wanders and never comes together to even come close to what might be considered a conclusion. Lord, I was born a ramblin’ film…….

I sure am glad I didn’t pay money to rent this one. Plot had lots of potential but like a truck stuck in the wax….er…I mean mud, it just never went anywhere. The upbeat note was a surprise to me, I thought Paris Hilton did a great job with her character, and with this plot that means she was excellent. It’s you typical horror movie where the writers have no creativity so they spend the entire movie having the characters running around being chased, and it leaves most fans who like good movies with good plots constantly checking their watch wondering when their suffering (of boredom) will be over. Second star is for Paris’ A for effort.
