Anjli Mohandri back as yet another police officer in another drama. Her acting in this was terrible. As for her superior D I Ruiz he was just as wooden. The pair of them totally ruined this drama. They were lacking compassion,believability and were both about as convincing as police officers as Big bird and kermit the frog. After all the hype about this series it became a massive flop. The script was tedious ,lacked quality and the obsessive behaviour and ridiculous accusations and baseless suspicions from the two detectives were a farce. I was so disappointed in this series.It just didn't cut it. Although the rest of the cast were very good. I struggled to watch two episodes so deleted all the series 1 No thrills or twists or even suspense! This drama was about as exciting as watching paint dry

The Larkins is a lovely programme. Bradley Walsh shows his versatility as a fabulous actor and makes the character so believable. Try not to compare this series with the original The darling buds of May and then you will enjoy the updated version. In such troubled times we need light entertainment especially when it's comical. The full cast deliver and work so well together. Charlie's character is fantastic and so funny.His facial expressions are really hilarious . I hope people give this series the chance it needs as it deserves to be successful. I hope we get a second series . I fully understand people finding a character difficult to accept when it's been played by someone in the past to great success.I and many others struggled to accept David Jason as D I Frost after playing Del boy as another example of not accepting a different version. I really hope to see these love characters on screen for a long time they are an absolute tonic.
