The film is set in the LA art world, following a group of pretentious art brokers, critics, etc. who are very quick to put someone down they perceive inferior, badmouth everyone supposed friends who aren't present, or attack them when they are - and in a public setting (art exhibitions, galleries, etc.)
The recently demoted Assistant Josephina finds a collection of paintings, which starts off the story.
Funny, entertaining throughout. Beautiful paintings. Obviously great actors: Jake Gyllenhaal, ... Especially Zawe Ashton is (as always) brilliant as (an extremely self centred) Josephina.
