I would really love to give this show a higher rating and to be honest, it is worth watching simply because of how compelling the central mystery is. The only thing that severely lets it down is the writing. Without spoiling anything, multiple characters are presented as being normal people who find themselves in very strange circumstances. However, their reactions and lines of dialogue in these circumstances often just feels off. I can't fully explain it but there are multiple scenes where characters reactions and behaviours just don't seem to fit with who they are as a character and the events taking place. If you enjoy a good slow burn mystery I would still definitely recommend watching this. But for anyone who cares a lot about compelling characters, you might find yourself getting a little frustrated at the inconsistencies between the way a character is presented and the way they behave when confronted with unusual circumstances.
