The performance by the lead actress was good. The story was decent and some of the horror and violence were splatterific…. The movie is completely undone by the hackneyed, clumsy, pathetic sequel set up ending that Wan and his studio decided was necessary to tack on to an otherwise decent horror flick. You don’t need to hammer us over the head with the fact that there will be a sequel. We knew that based on oh everything you’ve EVER done. What a waste of a decent hour and forty five by adding on the last five. All that ending said to me was I want more of your money!!! My answer is an emphatic no.
