Tsuki ga Kirei is a fantastic romance series because it didn't start that way. The first three episodes focused on developing the main characters before diving into their relationship. I might say that the first three episodes are the strongest episodes in the series. There are a few bumps here and there, particularly episodes 5,6,9 and 10, and there's also the issue of poor animation and cgi models. Nonetheless, with a powerful ending, the series is a great watch. Tissues are advisable for episode 12.
