Go woke go broke. Dune Prophecy is a complete drag. The characters are either lacklustre or insufferable. The writing is beyond terrible. The only thing this show has got going for it is the stunning visuals and amazing sets. Apart from that everything is terrible. Valya is a prime example of "forcing a strong female lead" The Emperor, Javicco played by Mark Strong comes across as a blithering fool. Desmond Hart feels like the writers didn't know what to do with him so they just made him a bad guy... or did they? The writers aren't fooling anyone by making him "morally ambiguous". All in all, what a waste of time. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Absolutely awful, I had such high hopes for this show, showcasing some darker tourist attractions and adventures. But this self proclaimed journalist puts his own thoughts and opinions ahead of anything else and is more often than not critical of people and their beliefs, cultures and traditions. Trying to rationalise these cultures through a western mindset is a main theme of this show and it truly makes it dull and hard to watxh
