I was assigned Circe for an English class this summer, but I enjoyed the piece so much that it never even felt like an assignment. I've always loved Greek mythology, and this book made me question all of my preconceptions, but in the best way possible. Miller's storytelling is so incredibly captivating and an absolute pleasure to experience. Her message is so resounding that I feel nothing short of gratitude for having been able to hear Circe's story and for the new perspective I've acquired as a result.
