I read the reviews and I had high hopes for this film, having been a teenager in the early 70s myself. I thought this film would be nostalgic, poignant and funny. Instead, it was a pointless, dull film that felt like the dialogue was improvised. None of the characters were believable or even likable. The 10 year age difference between the main characters was icky and unbelievable. There were numerous plotlines introduced that never went anywhere. Except for the soundtrack and a few notable cameo appearances, I got the feeling that parts were written for these cameo’s. This film wasted 2 hours of my life (but felt like 3 ) that I will never get back. Don't believe the reviews and don't waste your time or money.
