Bob Strempie

The film doesn’t do justice to being a period piece of the unrest in the city and race riots nor to the characters we would know from the Sopranos series in a timeline 20 years in the future. It feels more of a vague background story to set the stage for another better movie which really will get into the earlier years of the Sopranos characters. We would have been better served of a story line set in the late 70s or early 80s and which delved more into the lives of the Sopranos at that time. The film really left one unsatisfied and is no where near as good as a single episode of the series. Disappoints very much.
