Saw the low ratings of this movie and decided not to watch it in 2022... Fast forward to last night, had nothing else to watch and decided to check it out. At this point I'm completely sure Rotten Tomatoes had a motive for rating this movie so low or they just have kids doing the ratings. This movie isn't the regular slavery themed movie (that makes you hate white people in the end), this movie is inspiring, shows you what hope really is. Will Smith was incredible, can't count how many times I had tears rolling down. It should have a rating of at least 79%.The message I got from this movie - "Fight for what you dream of until the very end, let death be the only thing that stops you".
