I try not to write reviews for games. I feel like it makes writing one on the rare occasions less special. This game is one of those rare occasions. As I’ve gotten older (I’m 24 I started playing video games at the age of 4). I feel like games don’t inspire me to finish or get immersed in the game world like they used too. A lot of games these days just pile on bad story telling, with uninspired voice acting. In an obnoxiously large world with a variety of copy and paste missions. Wonderful 101 was a breath of fresh air. The ginger that cleaned out my refreshed my palate. The English voice acting is a little cringy at first. But as time went on it became endearing and gives the Wonderful 101 the eccentricity it needs. I was cheering on the heroes throughout my play through of this game. I never felt the urge to skip a scene because they were never drawn out and boring. The combat in this game is incredibly unique and the enemies react to the actions. If you draw a sword your enemy is sliced in half. If you use the claws they're sliced into tiny piece. I know this was an insanely long read (thank you for getting this far). I really wanted to express my joy for this game. It’s extremely rare for a game to invest me like this one. The last game was RDR2 when it originally came out. Please try this game out. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
