I absolutely loved it, and the fact that they chose such fundamentally flawed characters as protagonists is something that’s rarely seen in Indian films/tv. The acting and emotional rawness of both Shobita (Tara) and Arjun (Karan) really shines through. They’re both extremely talented in displaying their characters as best as it can be displayed. The only problem with Shobita is that she’s so incredibly beautiful that you can rarely focus on the dialogue. As a member of the LGBTQ community, it was refreshing to see a gay man being portrayed in a realistic way. Also, the costume director is extremely talented. Tara’s wardrobe is stunning and somehow is always cohesive with her character. So bottom line, definitely worth watching.
